Meet Michael Paniagua, Our Operations & Program Manager

PPIA adds to staff capacity & expertise

As PPIA’s Operations & Program Manager, Michael Paniagua (he/him) supports various programmatic, operations, and strategic planning efforts. He also manages the portfolio of Public Service Weekends offered each year with our university partners.


Prior to his time at PPIA, Michael worked at the LBJ School of Public Affairs's Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion office. There he assisted with grant writing, program development, and the school’s annual PPIA Public Service Weekend.


Before working in postgraduate education, Michael served as an Americorps College Advising Corps (CAC) advisor, working towards increasing the number of historically underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education. He continues this mission of uplifting diverse voices in education through PPIA today.
