Josh Diosomito

Josh Diosomito is Senior Business Partner of Talent Development at Capital Group, a global financial services firm and home of American Funds. Based in Los Angeles, he is responsible for the management and execution of Capital Group's leadership development, mentoring, and diversity programs empowering 9,000 associates across 32 global locations. 

Prior to joining Capital Group, Josh served as Senior Homeland Security Analyst with the U.S. Government Accountability Office leading congressional investigations into aviation, border and maritime security operations, among others. As a certified facilitator, he designed and led diversity training programs for federal, state, local and nonprofit partners across the country. 

As a PPIA fellow, Josh has dedicated his career promoting the inclusion of underrepresented groups in marginalized spaces. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual master’s degree in Public Administration and International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Outside the office, he is a husband, father, marathon runner and golfer.
