Admissions Overview

SPA hosts a faculty-driven, rolling admission process that strives to render candidates a decision on a completed file within ten to fourteen (10-14) days. Each year we enroll an experienced, academically strong, and diverse group of masters and doctoral students. Most have some professional or formal volunteer experience (either through internship(s), co-op, AmeriCorps, Teach for America, Peace Corps, or full-time professional experience) and all are committed to public service. Benefits for JSI and PPIA Fellows include an application fee waiver and prioritization for merit aid consideration. (Admitted PPIA Fellows are guaranteed a merit aid offer aligned with the strength of their application file.)

Our strategic location in the nation’s capital and flexible curriculum (many classes are offered at night and/or on the weekend) allows students the opportunity to maintain employment or gain experience through internships, while completing their degree. Professional outcome data and information may be surveyed for every SPA graduate degree at We Know Success.
